AC Milan intend to sell Alexandre Pato in 2012.

While Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani denied yesterday Pato was up for sale, Sport says returning president Silvio Berlusconi is prepared to cash in on the Brazilian to fund plans of a major squad overhaul in the summer.

Even Pato's relationship with Berlusconi’s daughter, Barbara, will not save him.

Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City are all monitoring Pato's situation.

Chelsea are willing to take a massive lose on striker Fernando Torres as they invite offers for the Spanish flop.

The Daily Mail says the £150,000-a-week striker has scored just three Barclays Premier League goals since his move to Stamford Bridge from Liverpool on January 31.

Chelsea considered sending him on loan to rebuild his shattered confidence, but they are now prepared to sell.

The club will have to take a massive financial hit on the most expensive player in British football history, but they have almost exhausted their other options.

Instead they will listen to any club prepared to offer around £20m and match his huge salary demands next month.

Real Madrid sports chief Miguel Pardeza insists Cristiano Ronaldo is "fine" after the heat of the El Clasico.

Ronaldo was jeered by Real fans during the defeat to Barcelona.

"Cristiano is fine, he is an immense player. He is something different from other players in that he never hides from the ball and always faces up to things anywhere and in any circumstance," said Pardeza.
